Cruz Vallis is currently working on his debut single. Produced by Travis Switzer, the aim is to have it out to radio, early summer of 2022. Choosing a song was a long process as Cruz has a sound that is best described as a cross between Chris Stapleton and Zach Bryan. In the end, Cruz ended up writing the song that will be that debut release. He took to writing, like everything else he does, With go, go, go attitude and never settling for second best.

Cruz comes about his love of live by submersing himself in whatever he does. You only need to look at what this young man has accomplished in his 18 years. Cruz got the entertainment bug around the age of seven. Every genre of music was played around the house and his family is filled with musicians. All instruments are represented in his family, piano to accordion to guitar and all in between. His family also has connections to the Canadian Army through the Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians), making veterans groups such as the Wounded Warriors Canda, close to his heart.

A born artist, Cruz was dancing before he was singing. Though he had dance lessons at an early age, it was his move from his home province of Nova Scotia to Spruce Grove, Alberta that put acting and singing on his resume. He became a long-time member of the drama program, as a triple threat. As a recent graduate of the Victoria School of the Arts, Cruz has positioned himself for a bright future, accepting entrance to the prestigious Vancouver Film School.

In the end, performing is what Cruz was born to do. Whether that ends up being in movies, dancing on a Broadway stage or bringing his considerable talents to radio, his success is all but guaranteed.
